178. Elizabeth Ann Knight⁵ BUCKNAM (Mary⁴ JUSTASON, Lydia³ HAWKINS, William Wilmot² HAWKINS, Zadock¹ HAWKINS) was born on 24 May 1842 in Pennfield, Charlotte Co., New Brunswick, Canada. She appeared on the 1851 Canadian Census with her parents in Pennfield Parish, Charlotte Co., New Brunswick. She was living in 1900.

She was married to William E. BOWDEN (son of William BOWDEN and Mary MCCARTNEY) in 1861. William E. BOWDEN was born about 1829 in St. Andrews, Charlotte Co., New Brunswick, Canada. He died on 22 Feb 1883 in Lake George, York Co., New Brunswick, Canada. Elizabeth Ann Knight BUCKNAM and William E. BOWDEN had the following children:

613 i. Chalmers⁶ BOWDEN died on 5 Aug 1870. His birth date is not known. It is presumed that he was born either before Frederick or between George and Robert. The burial records of St. Marks Church, St. George, New Brunswick, list him as a member of this family.

She was married to Duncan LAWRENCE on 3 Jul 1890 in Eastport, Washington Co., Maine, USA. Duncan LAWRENCE was born in Jan 1840 in Canada. Our Hawkins book, The Family of Zadock Hawkins, published in 2005, reported his name to be Lawrence DUNCAN when it should have been Duncan LAWRENCE.
