Descendants of Richmond HILLARD

This web site is devoted to Richmond Hillard, his wife, Lydia Goodwin Ford, and their descendants. Richmond has been established as a descendant of John Alden and Priscilla Mullins who came to America on the Mayflower. Richmond's mother was Esther (Burgess) Hillard, daughter of Elizabeth (Coe) Burgess, daughter of Sarah (Pabodie) Coe, daughter of Elizabeth (Alden) Pabodie, daughter of John Alden and Priscilla Mullins.

Richmond Hillard's descent from John Alden and Priscilla Mullins has been documented in an article that was written by the webmaster and published in The Mayflower Descendant in 2008. That article entitled, The Descendants of Richmond A. Hillard, A John Alden Line, also documents several generations of Richmond Hillard's descendants and may be downloaded by clicking on the link for the name of the article.

Richmond was born about 23 October 1763, in Connecticut. Lydia was born 31 August 1774 in Claremont, New Hampshire. Around 1820 they moved to Knox Co., Ohio, where they purchased land at that time. From Ohio their descendants moved to Michigan, Missouri, and other places.
